Learning about Inclusiveness - SLA Positive Work Culture Training Programmes in Chennai

Inclusiveness is the ability to get along well with any type of crowd or people in an office atmosphere. In today's work atmosphere people not only want to get along with their own team members but they should get along with members from other departments also. They should get along with people with different mother tongue with different behavior and customs.

In today's globalised environment, it is necessary to get along and include people from other countries also. Companies conduct a lot of training programs to build inclusion in their organizations. Sometimes, they will prefer to hire a candidate who is atleast familiar with the term inclusiveness.

Though we practise it in our day-to-day life, many may not be aware of the term inclusiveness. When you are a programmer, you can just look at your computer and keep working on code. But, if you are a team leader you need to manage people from diverse backgrounds, skill levels, and talent pool. So, inclusion will be very necessary as you grow up the career ladder.

Tips for Effectively Networking with Other People - SLA Offers Soft Skills Techniques & Training in Chennai

sla groups t nagar complaints

Networking is as important as work in the corporate environment. Let us look at few methods will help you to network effectively anywhere and in any place.

Smile: This is such a simple, basic rule, yet people just don't think about it. They're so focused on needing to network at a conference that they don't realize they're walking around with a scowl on their face. Scowling, serious, expressions are forbidding. People are more likely to warm up to someone who says good morning with a broad smile than they are to someone with a dour countenance.

Ask a question: Joining a group engaged in conversation can be awkward. The best way to do so is to pose a question to the group after getting the gist of the conversation. You build your credibility by asking a question, and for a shy person, that's a much easier way to engage than by barging in with an opinion.

Say the person's name: People like to hear their own name. Dale Carnegie's basic principles says that a person's name is the sweetest sound to that person. So when you meet someone, use his name in conversation. Doing so makes the other person feel more comfortable, like you really know him and he knows you.

Top Soft Skills Employers Search for? - SLA Soft Skills Training in Chennai

sla groups t nagar complaints

In today's work economy a slacker is not appreciated. An employee with good soft skills is preferred over someone with good technical skills. There are few soft skills that are rated above others. Let us look at few such skills.

Behavioral skills' can sometimes take precedence over technical skills. Employers look for smart and intelligent individuals who exhibit passion to do something different with technology.

There are top three skills that employers look for. The first would be integrity. This is of utmost importance. The second would be accountability, and the third would be how self-critical the individual is. Employers push employees to be self-critical, which can help them achieve personal excellence.

Sometimes, most managers rank the ability to prioritize as most important. An average worker might prioritize their projects based on the order they were given – first in, first out. Or they’ll skip from project to project, depending on which project leaders scream the loudest.

However, you will enjoy more career success if you’re able to look at your projects and know which are most important as you are moving through them. This requires understanding how each project maps to the company’s goals. It requires having a good grasp of the business you’re in. It requires the ability to ask the right questions and offer solutions. It requires the ability to manage your manager’s expectations.

There are many ways to improve soft skills. SLA IT Employment Training Company teaches how to improve your soft skills along with technical skills. For more details visit SLA Soft Skills Training in Chennai or dial (91 44) 4200 5050/90.

Password Authentication Protocol (PAP) - Network Operating Remote Access Systems Training in SLA Chennai

sla Groups T Nagar Complaints Chennai

Password Authentication Protocol (PAP) is a simple authentication protocol in which the user name and password is sent to the remote access server in a plaintext (unencrypted) form. Using PAP is strongly discouraged because your passwords are easily readable from the Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) packets exchanged during the authentication process. PAP is typically used only when connecting to older UNIX-based remote access servers that do not support more secure authentication protocols.
  • You cannot use Microsoft Point-to-Point Encryption (MPPE) if PAP is used to authenticate the connection.
  • If the connection is configured to require a secured password and you attempt to connect to a server that is configured only for PAP, the Windows XP remote access client terminates the connection.
  • PAP provides a simple method for a remote node to establish its identity using a two-way handshake. After the PPP link establishment phase is complete, a username and password pair is repeatedly sent by the remote node across the link (in clear text) until authentication is acknowledged, or until the connection is terminated.
  • PAP is not a secure authentication protocol. Passwords are sent across the link in clear text and there is no protection from playback or trial-and-error attacks. The remote node is in control of the frequency and timing of the login attempts.
There are many more such protocols in the networking field. Are you curious to learn more. Then SLA IT Employment Training Company may be a good choice. For more details visit SLA ChennaiSLA Networking Training in Chennaior dial (91 44) 4200 5050/90.

Quantitative Aptitude Test Percentage Problem - SLA Job Oriented Training Program/Courses in Chennai

sla groups t nagar complaints

In quantitative aptitude tests, percentage problems are very common. Let us look at a sample percentage problem with an example.

In an acoustics class, 120 students are male and 100 students are female. 25% of the male students and 20% of the female students are engineering students. 20% of the male engineering students and 25% of the female engineering students passed the final exam. What percentage of engineering students passed the exam?

A. 5%
B.10%
C.16%
D. 22%

There are 100 female students in the class, and 20% of them are Engineering students.
Now, 20% of 100 equals (20/100)×100=20.
Hence, the number of female engineering students in the class is 20.
Now, 25% of the female engineering students passed the final exam:
25%of20=(25/100)×20=5.
Hence, the number of female engineering students who passed is 5.
There are 120 male students in the class. And 25% of them are engineering students.
Now, 25% of 120 equals(25/100)×120=(14)×120=30.
Hence, the number of male engineering students is 30.
Now, 20% of the male engineering students passed the final exam:
20%of30=(20/100)×30=6.
Hence, the number of male engineering students who passed is 6.
Hence, the total number of engineering students who passed is:
(Female Engineering students who passed) +
(Male Engineering students who passed) = 5 + 6 = 11
The total number of engineering students in the class is:
(Number of female engineering students) +
(Number of male engineering students) = 30 + 20 = 50
Hence, the percentage of engineering students who passed is
(Total number of engineering students who passed / Total number of engineering students)×100
=(11/ 50)×100 = 22 %

Checking Divisibility of a Number - Aptitude Skills Program Training in SLA Chennai

sla t nagar chennai complaints

You can check if a number is divisible by 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on till 13. There are some simple rules to check divisibility. Let us look at some examples for divisibility by 3 and 4.

Divisibility by 3
-------------------
A number is divisible by 3 if and only if the sum of the digits is divisible by 3.
Example:
Which of the following two numbers is/are fully divisible by 3: 97533222 or 97533322?
Answer: 97533222
Reason:
Sum of digits for 97533222 = 33 / 3 = 11
Sum of digits for 97533322 = 34 / 3 = 11.33

Divisibility by 4
--------------------
A number is divisible by 4 if and only if the last 2 digits is a number divisible by 4.
Example:
Which of the following two number is fully divisible by 4: 5555444446 or 5555444448 ?
Answer: 5555444448
Reason:
Last 2 digits for 5555444446 are 46, 46 is not fully divisible by 4 (46/4 = 11.5)
Last 2 digits for 5555444448 are 48, 48 is fully divisible by 4 (48/4 = 12)

What is an Interface in OOPS? - .Net Programming Classes in SLA Groups T Nagar Chennai

SLA Groups T Nagar Complaints
An interface is a contract. If you are defining an interface, then you are describing a set of rules. A class can follow the rules specified by the interface. When a class fulfills the contract or rules specified by the interface, we could say that a class implements the interface.

Interfaces in C# provide a way to achieve runtime polymorphism. Using interfaces we can invoke functions from different classes through the same interface reference, whereas using virtual functions we can invoke functions from different classes in the same inheritance hierarchy through the same reference.

Public interface <interface name>
{
//specify the contract
}

An interface looks like a class, but has no implementation. The only thing it contains are declarations of events, indexers, methods, and /or properties. The reason interfaces only provide declarations is that they are inherited by classes and structs, which must provide an implementation for each interface member declared.

How to Deal with Many Zeroes in a Numerical Aptitude Test

SLA Groups T Nagar Complaints

One of the common ways people make mistakes while doing basic math in numerical reasoning / quantitative aptitude/ problem solving tests is because of the confusion with zeros (0's). The moment someone has to deal with something like this:

34000*60000*1000000
or
50 thousand people earning 1.3 million $ each for 200 days = ?
You find it difficult or you are overwhelmed. You miss zeros, add extra zeros, get all zero'd up - so how do you do it without getting confused like crazy?
Here's a valuable tip - use '10 to the power notation'. If you don't know what it is, then spend a little time learning it - the notation is essentially
100 = 10-squared = 10^2 (10 to the power of 2)
1000 = 10^3
10000 = 10^4
million = 10^6
billion = 10^9
so
50 thousand people earning 1.3 million $ each for 200 days = ?
will be represented as follows:
(5*10^4)*(1.3*10^6)*(2 * 10^2)

= 5*1.3*2* (10^4*10^6*10^2)
= 6.5*2*(10^(4+6+2))
= 6.5*2*(10^12)
=  13*10^12

So, that is the magic for solving maths problems with too many zeros. You want to know many such tips and tricks while you are doing a technical course.

Do you want to breeze past your job interview tests? Then SLA IT Employment Training Company is the right place for you.

Computer Hardware & Networking Job-Oriented Courses - SLA T Nagar Chennai Complaints

sla jobs t nagar complaints

When you are working with computers, you would have wondered about how and where data is centrally stored. Or about how the client computers get information. Then you should know more about servers.

Servers come in many shapes and sizes. They are a core component of the network, providing a link to the resources necessary to perform any task. The link the server provides could be to a resource existing on the server itself or a resource on a client computer. The server is the “leader of the pack,” offering directions to the client computers regarding where to get what they need.

Servers offer networks the capability of centralizing the control of resources and security thereby reducing administrative difficulties. They can be used to distribute processes for balancing the load on computers and can thus increase speed and performance. They can also compartmentalize files for improved reliability. That way, if one server goes down, not all of the files are lost.

Servers can perform several different critical tasks. For example, servers that provide files to the users on the network are called file servers. Likewise, servers that host printing services for users are called print servers. Servers can be multi-purpose or single purpose. If they are multipurpose, they can be for example, both a file server and a print server at the same time. If the server is a single-purpose server, it is a file server only or a print server only. Another distinction we use in categorizing servers is whether they are dedicated or non-dedicated.

If you are interested to learn more about hardware and networking, you can join a course in networking. SLA IT Employment Training Company conducts job-oriented courses in hardware and networking. For more details visit SLA Chennai or dial (91 44) 4200 5050/90.

Difference between Abstract Class and Interface - .Net Programming Classes in SLA Chennai

sla jobs tnagar chennai

Interfaces are similar to abstract classes in that they both provide a template that you can use to create new classes. The difference is that interfaces don't provide any implementation of class members, whereas abstract classes can implement members that then become common to all the classes derived from them. When you implement a particular interface in a class, instances of that class can be used for any argument or variable declared as that interface.

Message passing is also known as interfacing, and describes the communication between objects using their public interfaces. There are three main ways to pass messages. These are using methods, properties, and events. A property can be defined in a class to allow objects of that type to advertise and allow changing of state information, such as 'TopSpeed' property. Methods can be provided so that other objects can request a process to be undertaken by an object, such as Steer() method. Events can be defined that an object can raise in response to an internal action. Other objects can subscribe to these so that they can react to an event occurring.

Nasscom Report IT Industry Trend - Product or Project?

sla jobs chennai

If you are searching for a job in the IT sector, you may be wondering how is the Indian software scenario. You may also be wondering if you want to join a product-based company or project-based company. What is the difference between a product and a project? A product is something the company develops internally with its own specifications. A project is done for an external client.

Addressing the ninth edition of product conclave, NASSCOM President Som Mittal said the product landscape has exponentially grown in India over the years. This is because the focus has now shifted from the services sector to products. Som Mittal said "And in an effort to pursue this vision, NASSCOM is making representations with governments across levels, recommending them to set up an entrepreneurship mission, change in procurement guidelines and access to funding."
NASSCOM predicts that the year 2013-2014 will be very good for the software industry. The software exports from India will meet the 11-14 percent growth in the current financial year. NASSCOM says the IT sector, which crossed USD 100 billion mark last year, will clock at least double-digit growth this year. The 'NASSCOM AWSME India Survey 2012' released at the event said technology and software providers are considerably interested in the Indian SME market because of the immense rise in numbers and growth potential of this category.

Looking at the demand for products, let us see which software is most suitable for developing a product. .NET is very good for developing products. The TCP/IP Protocol Suite - Computer Networking Training in Chennai

sla groups tnagar complaints

The TCP/IP suite of protocols provides a set of standards for how operating systems and applications communicates and how networks are interconnected. The TCP/IP suite of protocols maps to a four-layer conceptual model known as the Department of Defense (DOD) model. The four layers are as follows:

Network Access Layer – The network access layer is responsible for placing data on the network medium and receiving data off the network medium. This layer contains physical devices such as network cables and network adapters.

Internet Layer – The internet layer is responsible for addressing, packaging, and routing the data that is handed down to it from the transport layer. There are four core products in this layer: IP Address Resolution Protocol (ARP), Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP), and Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)

Transport Layer – The transport layer protocols provide communication sessions between computers. The desired method of data delivery determines the transport protocol. The two transport layer protocols are TCP and User Datagram Protocol(UDP).

Application Layer – At the top of the model is the application layer, in which applications gain access to the network. There are many standard TCP/IP tools and services in the application layer, such as File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Telnet, Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), DNA, and so on.

The SQL Server backup and restore component provides an important safeguard for protecting critical data stored in SQL Server Databases. A well-planned backup and restore strategy helps protect databases against data loss caused by a variety of failures. Test your strategy by restoring a set of backups and then recovering your database to prepare you to respond effectively to a disaster.

A copy of data that can be used to restore and recover the data is called a backup. Backups let you restore data after a failure. With good backups, you can recover from many failures, such as;

  • Media failure
  • User errors, for example, dropping a table by mistake
  • Hardware failures, for example, a damaged disk drive or permanent loss of a server
  • Natural disasters

Additionally, backups of a database are useful for routine administrative purposes , such as copying a database from one server to another, setting up database mirroring, and archiving.

Team Building Game

Team building is developed by making the participants to get into some games or activities. There are several games for Team Building. Let us look at one such game.

Coin Logo

Time Required: 5-10 minutes

Begin by asking all participants to empty their pockets, purses, and wallets of any coins they may have and place them on the table in front of them. If someone doesn’t have any coins or only has very few, others in the room can share their coins with them. Instruct each person to create their own personal logo using the coins in front of them in just one minute. Other materials they may have on them, such as pens, notebooks, wallets, etc. can also be used in creation of the logo. If there is a particularly large group, people can be broken up into teams of 3-6 people and instructed to create a logo that represents them as a team or the whole room can gather to use the coins to create a logo for the organization/group/department/etc. Each solitary participant can explain their logo to the group or if the room was split into groups, the leader can have each group discuss what led to the team logo and what it says about them. Not only does this activity promote self and mutual awareness, but it also enables participants to get to know each other on a more personal level.

The MCSM - Microsoft Certified Solutions Master Certification Courses Training in Chennai

sla jobs tnagar chennai

MCSE and MCSD certifications are prerequisites for some of the Microsoft Certified Solutions Master (MCSM) certifications. These certifications better prepare you to pursue an MCSM certification by validating the full range of skills and abilities required to be successful at building technology solutions. MCSE and MCSD certifications also validate more difficult skills than the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) and help to bridge the gap between the MCITP and the level of knowledge required for Master-level certifications.

Microsoft Certified Solutions Master (MCSM) certifications validate skills that are deeper and broader than those validated by MCM certifications, skills that are required to build solutions both on-premises and in the cloud. Microsoft added recertification requirements to ensure that IT professionals who hold our certifications are up-to-date on our continually evolving technology. SLA Career Tips: What not to tell at your Job Interview...

sla jobs t nagar chennai

As a fresher or a job-seeker, you will be looking out for lot of jobs. But you need to know how to handle an interview and what not to do at an interview.

Don't tell the employer that you are nervous. The employer already knows candidates are nervous for their job interviews. If you fumble during your interview, don’t use nervousness as an excuse. Pick up from where you left off and speak with confidence.

Never ask about salary during the interview. This is a topic the interviewer will bring up at their discretion. Once the interviewer explains compensation and benefits, you may ask questions regarding the topic.
Trash-talking your boss during an interview shows a lack of professionalism. Never bring up a past experience during your interview that would cause you to speak poorly about the person or job.

The employer realizes you are applying for the job because you are searching for employment. They don’t need to know exactly why you need the job or any personal details. It isn’t necessary to state how desperate you are for the position and you don’t need to say anything that would cause a red flag for the employer.

While you are concerned about advancing your career, it’s important not to tell the interviewer this position serves only as a stepping stone to better employment. Employers want to know how you can help their company – not how their company will benefit you.

Always research the company before the interview. Make sure you know what the company values and if there are any awards they’ve received.

Interviewers will ask details about your internships and previous jobs. Be prepared to share accomplishments from each experience and how the skills you gained relate to the position.

Before you even apply for the job, make sure you understand what the description entails. During the interview, you will be expected to explain how your background relates to the position. If there were some details you were unclear about when you applied, bring a list of questions to the interview.

By avoiding these mistakes, you will already be ahead in the interview process. As long as you are confident and educate yourself about the position, you will increase your likelihood of landing the job.

Do you want to be well prepared to face an interview? Do you want to equip yourself with both technical as well as soft skills. Then join SLA. If you want to be a part of this wonderful learning experience, join SLA now! For more details visit SLAChennai or dial (91 44) 4200 5050/90.
